Review
Federal Judge Sidney Logan is forced to go on the run with her foster daughter under the protection of Deputy Marshal Tanner Wilcox, as a dangerous threat looms over her upcoming ruling. With danger at every turn, Tanner is determined to keep them safe while uncovering who is trying to intimidate her.
From the very first page, this fast-paced read had me hooked. The Wyoming setting adds a rugged charm, while the slow-building relationship between Sidney and Tanner adds emotional depth. I loved seeing Tanner and Colt again from a previous book, though this can easily be read as a standalone. Tanner is a strong, principled man who lives his faith openly, and I appreciated how he shared that with Sidney, helping ease her doubts.
With tension, action, and heartfelt moments, this book delivers everything I love in a romantic suspense. Tanner’s kindness toward Lilly and his loyal friendship with Colt made him an even more compelling character. I can’t wait to continue this series—Colt’s story is next on my list!
