Review
This is three books in one which I am thrilled about. The reason is I could go straight to the next one as soon as I finished the first. It also meant that anything unsettled from the previous book could be settled in the next. It was the perfect continuation from book to book. I had never read any of these books so it was a wonderful chance to have something to read over the weekend. Each woman for the guys came from a different country which I think added a lot to the story. My favorite character was Jennie. There was just something about her that made me wish she would have her own book.
Maddox is the first book and in it we meet all of the men of Black Stallion Ranch. We also got to know more about their operation. While the horse ranch is the business the world sees their true business is saving people. In this book we have Maddox helping save Adira while managing to get pretty cozy to her as well. Stryder was the next book and in it he saves Zoya. Both Stryder and Zoya have been through a bit more than either Maddox or Adira but that made their story all the much deeper for it. Anson was the last and I think my favorite. His “save” was Natalia and he has spent six months working on recusing her. The thing about Natalia is she may not really need saving as she has her own agenda.
