Review
Lady Olivia MacBain (Liv) inherited Drumblair Castle instead of her brother Kerr. That’s okay other things have gone well for her like Brodie coming into her life. She doesn’t have the dream fashion career in New York she had hoped to be but if Brodie would only propose things would be perfect. Of course, then Kerr shows back up and swears he has changed. It seems like he has but can people really change that much? As someone who has a sibling like Kerr I can totally understand Liv being wary.
I loved Liv as a character. She has had some disappointments and life hasn’t gone the way she hoped it would but she is happy and content with where she is now. She could have had a fit and stayed in New York to follow her own dreams. However, she is home and hoping that her brother really has changed.
If she is a bit impatient waiting on Brodie to propose I could understand why. All in all this was a great read and I really need to go back and read the others. I will say that my favorite character of the entire book was Granny Isla. She was just awesome!
